  1.         Hewlett-Packard NDIS 2.0 Compatible LAN Adapter Drivers

  3.     The drivers on this disk (HPLANB.DOS and HPLANB.OS2) support the
  4.     Hewlett-Packard family of EtherTwist LAN adapters for IBM PC/XT/AT
  5.     and compatible computers. These LAN Adapters are HP Product numbers:

  7.         27245A  8 Bit 10BaseT
  8.         27247A 16 Bit 10BaseT
  9.         27250A  8 Bit ThinLAN
  10.  
  11.     These drivers will work with the HP 27240A StarLAN cards, however early
  12.     versions of these cards may require software CRC checking, which is
  13.     not supported by HPLANB. These drivers will not work with:

  15.         27241A  16 Bit MCA StarLAN
  16.         27246A  16 Bit MCA EtherTwist
  17.         27248A  32 Bit EISA EtherTwist
  18.  
  19.     Use the non remote boot compatible driver, HPLAN, for the MCA cards 
  20.     and HPLANE for the EISA card.

  22.     This disk has been submitted to Microsoft for NDIS 2.0 Lan Manager 
  23.     certification of the HPLANB driver.

  26.       NOTE: The Lan Manager 2.10 SETUP program may display and attempt to use
  27.         the old driver (identified by "HP Ethertwist Adapter - All Cards"). 
  28.         If this occurs, remove the driver from the Installed list (Alt-R) 
  29.         and pick the new driver (identified by "8/16 Bit PC/AT Cards").
  30.            
  31.         The new driver will be available in the Network Adapter Drivers
  32.         list after picking "Other Driver" and loading it from floppy.
